He Is

Jesus is everything I need,
Whether I know Him to be or not.
He is faithful and capable
Enough for my heart,
For every darkness,
For every storm,
For every extremity.

I may grasp His hand, while He
Grasps my hand more firmly and strongly.
And though I'm afraid and doubt him,
He can never doubt;
For at each moment
Of every hour,
Now until eternity,

He is.
